London Fashion Week

My favorite look from LFW had to be Burberry. I enjoyed the tulle detailing Christopher Bailey put into his spring/summer designs. It reminded me of ballet tutus! There was a lot of sheer detailing from the tulle fabric and the bow waist belts added a feminine touch. A tulle belt can easily update a spring wardrobe from simple to flirty. His collection went beyond the tradition khaki trench coat.

Olivia Palermo was spotted attending the shows wearing the jacket I featured on my back-to-school post! I guess we not only share the same name, but also the same style. ;)

Milan Fashion Week

I am obsessed with Moschino's Spring/Summer 2015 collection! The models dressed up as Barbie in her dream wardrobe. This is the best show I have seen, not only for Jeremy Scott's originality, but the colorful pieces I am inspired to wear next season: beautiful, fun and super girly! Moschino topped Fashion Week in Milan!! Do you love the collection?! Watch the full show below.

New York Fashion Week

I finally caught up on Fashion Week, thanks to my blogs. Last week was in New York and my favorite show was Diane von Furstenberg's Spring 2015 collection. Her collection featured a lot of gingham and baby-doll dresses. It had a very flirty style and her collection went beyond her signature wrap dress. I'm looking forward for Chanel's show in Paris. Fashion Wall

As I am still in the process of interviewing on my days off of work, my room is slowly coming together. I still have to make a fashion collage on my wall as I started in my hometown room. I actually started doing this since I was in eighth grade and kept on going through college. It's always inspiring to look at my fashion wall. Lakeshore Run

Today after work, I went for my first run in the city. My sister and I ran 6 miles on Lakeshore Drive. What a beautiful night view while you run! The weather was perfect tonight. I'm planning on enjoying these last summer nights. Over the weekend, we celebrated Mary Claire's birthday and explored the city. It feels good to finally be here!

I'm Home

I finally moved into my new apartment in Lakeview!! We moved in on Labor Day and it already feels like home. We are still in the process of decorating the place and moving more things from home (Algonquin). I have started commuting to work using CTA instead of my car and it's different, in a good way. I get a chance to read while I travel to work now. I'm excited for the start of something new. I'll be posting pictures of my decorated apartment soon. Cheers to the first weekend living in the city!
