Dressing Your Easter Best
Easter weekend was so much fun. I had most of the Easter weekend off, so I got to truly enjoy time with my family and friends. The whole family was over at my house for Easter. Our Polish tradition is to bless our Easter baskets on Saturday and attend 5 a.m. mass when the sun rises on Easter Sunday. As far as dressing my Easter best, I wore a pastel and lace inspired outfit outfit from Express and Kate Spade (details, below). What was your Easter outfit and more importantly, what traditions do you have with your family?

New Kate
Yesterday, I made a purchase at Kate Spade on Oak Street. I've been looking for a casual, yet lady-like bag where I can take on the "L" and not worry about getting mugged. This seemed like the perfect option from Kate Spade. It's big enough to hold all my essentials and the right color for all seasons and outfits. It doesn't have a bow on it, but that's usually already somewhere on my outfit. I'll post an outfit picture with it soon.
I also purchased my tickets for Lollapalooza this year. I will be attending all 3 days this year! I'm so excited for another year of Chicago's summer music festival. :)

23.
I am officially 23! My birthday weekend was such a blast spent with my friends and family. On Friday, I had my birthday dinner at Fiorentino's Cucina Italiana and my party at Parliament Chicago. My birthday weekend just so happens to be on St. Patrick's Day weekend so I found it appropriate to go to an Irish pub(The Abbey) for the countdown of my birthday Saturday night. There was plenty of Irish music and dancing. My actual birthday was spent with my family. We all went to Giordano's and had cake back at my house. This year will be filled with lots of exciting things for me: Paris, New York, Pilates Certification, running a half-marathon and living the city life. Thank you to everyone who celebrated and sent me birthday wishes!! It made me smile even more than I already do. :)

Happy March!
It's finally my favorite month of the year: my birthday month! This month started with taking a trip to Montana with Sylvia. We visited our cousin, Robert who plays in a hockey league there. It's a long way from Chicago so we enjoyed spending time together and watching him play. Montana is a beautiful, relaxing state.
While the weather is cold, try to add a pop of color in your shoes. ;)

Scarves For Days
With the weather getting so cold, sometimes it's best to leave our scarves on to stay warm indoors. There are so many fashionable options for men and women that it's a good idea to actually wear it with your outfit. I tend to wear my scarves on when I go out to meet friends during the day. Here, Joslyn shows us how she layers her tunic, leggings and cardigan outfit with a purple scarf. It adds a pop of color to her neutral outfit and keeps her warm throughout the day. Another fun option is a fur scarf. What scarves are you leaving on this season?

Valentines
I hope you all had a happy Valentine's Day and spent it with the ones you love. Did you notice the Starbucks cups with hearts on the side? Just one of the little pleasures of one of my favorite holidays. This year, I decorated Valentine's Day cards and baked Kiss Cookies with Mary Claire. There's always something special about making a gift this time of year. As far as date night, here's an outfit that goes beyond Valentine's Day, brought to you by Sed Bona. Don't forget the red lipstick, ladies!

Snowball 2015
Over the weekend, I attended the 27th Annual Snowball at Chicago Union Station. The charity event was filled with food-tasting, drinks, dancing, a silent auction and a photo booth. It was a very classy evening with a black tie dress code. It's always nice to see men and women dressed to the nines! If an event calls for a suit and tie or gown/cocktail dress, take full advantage of it. Dressing fancy not only makes you look good, but feel good, too. This was my first Snowball and I highly recommend attending next year. All the money goes towards a good cause, benefiting Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
